Special shares are a "separate" account from your Regular shares, designated by S-20. Many people use a special share account to save for unique occasions or items that they would prefer to keep separate from their regular share account.

Answer: No. The only requirement for the $5.00 minimum balance is regular shares.

Question: What is the dividend rate paid on special shares?

Answer: The same as paid on regular shares.
